Enable PVR on D6000

OBS: To enter the service menu: power off the TV then press MUTE, 1, 8, 2 POWER. the TV will power on and show the service menu.

I tested this method but the PVR option still is disabled. But, if you enter the "option" menu you can alter de TV model.

I altered my TV model from D6000 to D6500 then power off the TV. When I powered on the TV and entered the SmartHub two apps have appeared : TV Recorder and Browser.
I tested the browser bus it shows me a message "updating..." and not worked.
The PVR app worked to me, at least to format the flash drive I putted in the TV. I could not to record any TV channel, maybe because the model of my flash drive.

WARNING: The real D6500 TV have an internal wifi. Changing the TV model from D6000 to D6500 deactivated the Wireless function. When you alter model to D6500 the "network support" menu of the "option" menu will change to "Int-wifi". You have to manually change to "Ext-wifi". If you have problems, use wired LAN.

After all i restored all the normal options for fear of damaging the TV because I had to fix all these problems.



Hello i have a d6000 Us version i tried the method but whit no luck the controler on pc was working but whit no result i just whant tp enable the pvr to record tv show for my girlfriend some 1 help me ( i try to change the model but its in gray in service menu )

If i change the type of tv mine is : 55A1UF4E for exp : 55A1UF7E would it solve the model grayed prob ?

Hi!

I activated the extended service menu and changed model from UE6200 to UD6500 but 3D and TV stoped working. Green screen in 3D mode and TV and Network grayed out in menu
Browser that installed in Smart Hub was only updating but never went thru
Which model can i change my D6200 safly too and have browser?
My exact TV model is UE40D6207TK.
