Sometimes I loose my root. Lets say once a week. Then I simply start the root from out of smart hub again and evry thing is fine.
The patch said in the first part SamyGo_OK is missing (red).
Today it was after a shitty smart hub update. Perhaps this unwanted smart hub update is the reason (how to get rid of it)?!

Hi! I've got some free time to fix my F series root. I'd like to start with everything from the beginning . Should I do a factory reset? How can I delete files which are on my TV after old root without working root ('no DRM' files etc.)? Maybe they're the reason of my problem?

If you don't have telnet on port 5023 it means everything removed. Now (almost) everything is ON USB :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

The App Rooting works with the 1123.3!
Tested on F8090 and F8590!

Hi,

i can't upload files via ftp on my F6750. FTP seems to work because
I can connect to TV and list directories. But no writing possible,
i.e. for installing NoDRM. Also the PVRdecoder works fine so I
think the device IS rooted. But no connection with nc and telnet
only list one directory, no "cd" possible.

What to do? :?

PVRdecoder works -> device rooted

PVRDecoder USES telnet. It means telnet DOES work and the problem is in what you do and not with root :)

Change user and hit any key :)

My old UE22F5400AW had some kind of internal error so I went to the store and, as still on warranty, the store gave me a new one (same model).

Problem is that it comes with 2103.4 firmware (dated 12/01/2015) according to samsung web http://www.samsung.com/es/support/model/UE22F5400AWXXC

After a lot of attempts, I managed to install SamyGO and all went fine or, at least, all OK on screen.

Image

I have an external HD conected with 3 partitions:

1. FAT. 4 Gb for SAMYGO
2. NTFS. About 1.5 Tb for my movies, music, etc.
3. Another partition (EXT4?) for recordings.

On my old TV all worked fine. With this new one I've done a factory reset, formatted SAMYGO partition and saved all patching files after that.

But now, when I turn on my TV, it turns off each minute or so, and then turns on again and the process is continuosly repeating.

What I'm doing wrong?

Thank you very much

Do you have enough time to get FTP access before TV reboots?

If yes, disable these scripts one by one in /mnt/etc/init.d:

Code: Select all

99_99_ChannInfoON.init
99_99_InfoBannerDuration.init
99_99_PVRAnyDev.init
99_99_SleepTimer.init
Until TV stops to reboot
(to disable a script, simply rename it from .init to .init.dis)
