[ROOT] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
And I'm also curious if anyone has unlocked tv with this version of fw .
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Here on E it's in Control->Sub-option, but it must depends on TV. Explore by yourself it shouldn't be hard to findghostek69 wrote:and you can specify where exactly it is located in the service menu

No idea, all reports are in this thread but not everybody report.ghostek69 wrote:And I'm also curious if anyone has unlocked tv with this version of fw .

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
is no further trouble. Watchdog and helped turned off . TV does not restart but very slowly moving on the virtual usb . I detect the nfs server , which is installed on the virtual directory usb , but move between directories takes several seconds. as if he were reading the data , it hangs and starts to work . Most important to me just by reading the nfs server . Do you have any advice . Thank you for your response .
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Glad it doesn't crash anymore
No idea about NFS, I use only Samba. Maybe you should ask in public part of forum.

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
problem solved , I did a factory reset of the service menu , again Uploader samygo and works all good and fast. Thank you for your interest .
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
As far as the server is a network drive I zyxel nsa -310 usb tv on virtualnym mounted nfs and smb shares . NFS smb faster while also supports an external drive to nsa310 dopi?ty by usb . So it must be, and this and that
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Main thing is that it does what you expect.
Btw, if you did a factory reset, don't forget to disable again OTN support

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Perhaps I have misunderstood the problem of ghostek69 but now it is confirmed that firmware 2104 can be rooted, isn't it?
The main problem was to disable watchdog in service menu, I think. But is it also necessary to do a factory reset?

Yeah works on 2104, but ALWAYS better not updategertbra wrote:Perhaps I have misunderstood the problem of ghostek69 but now it is confirmed that firmware 2104 can be rooted, isn't it?

Disabling watchdog solved kind of bootloop issue, and factory reset some NFS slowness most people may not encounter.gertbra wrote:The main problem was to disable watchdog in service menu, I think. But is it also necessary to do a factory reset?
Both steps might be necessary ONLY if you have the same problem(s), and are not part of usual procedure.
