Maybe you are right, your particular TV has some compability-issue going on, or
maybe the PVRDecoder itself has some issue with your network, even if I cant imagine how ..

Open netcat-log from the tool-menu before you start ... if netcatmonitor-menu is missing, you need to add a key
to the PVRDecoder registry settings ... ENABLENETCATMONITOR: dword = 1

The slider does not have the resolution to allow me to select an arbitrary value. The "default" value 10 was not selectable but 8 and 15 were. I selected 15. I did not check what was the absolutely lowest selectable value, but remember that the decoding time becomes long even for small recordings at such low values. Even 15 is a very low value in this context.

The previous version of PVRDecoder crashed my TV numerous times. I am sure this issue existed even then. Since the decoding was so slow at that time, it was never meaningful to do a batch decoding. I was happy if I was able to decode even one recording. Also remember that my TV was generally unstable at that time and sometimes rebooted without reasons. Now, after my deliberate firmware upgrade and re-rooting, the TV is much more stable. For the moment, PVRDecoder is the only thing that hangs my TV.

Debugging programs can be like peeling off layers from an onion. When one problem is solved, another one becomes visible. The main problem with the previous version of PVRDecoder was its lack of speed, which made it absolutely useless. Now the speed is good, but I can only decode one recording at a time without a hang or crash. I have to restart PVRDecoder between every decoding to avoid hanging my TV.

I set up a batch decoding of two short recordings. The first recording was decoded correctly. This is the last communication before the TV hanged (or actually stopped responding to any communication, including the remote control).

It did not help, the TV hanged again. BTW, I changed the slider value to 10 manually in the register with regedit.

Problems with Windows Firewall.
'Verifying telnet access' failed if Firewall is active.
The rule allows in- and outbound connections for 'samyGOPVRDecoder.exe', where ist the problem?
