Hi sectroyer,

Is removing Cinavia allows you to play TrueHD-MKV content from player's USB ?
I have HT-E6750W which cannot output audio (audio is silenced) if the MKV file are played from USB source, but TrueHD content play just fine if the source are coming from Bluray disc's.

Sorry to ask guys, but just to recap:
1.- Disable OTN automatic updates for bluray player
2.- Apply the procedure to root the Bluray player
a.- Is this a one time procedure just to allow applying cinavia patch? Or the Bluray must start rooted every time?
3.- Apply Cinavia patch
a.- Where is the procedure/commands to run the patch...sorry but I didn't fin a topic about this.

Is this ok?
Thanks in advance !

Regards,

The rooting didn't work for me on BD-E6300 with firmware 1004, so while the procedure works for some players it seems very much that it doesn't for others, even if the model number etc is the same.

Have you tested on bd-5700? Or would I be the first on this model to try this?

No smarthub = no root = no cinavia removal (at least not using any known method here), sorry.
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

Does this work for with the latest firmware with the model f7500? My automatic update is still enabled so I'm guessing it has the latest firmware. thanks

Hello..

I have Samsung BD-J7500 and i have the CINAVIA ERROR bullshit...

I have been searching for a solution. I intended to use my bluray player as a media player to play my .mkv files inside external hdds. Now it seems all my pirated stash is but a trash.

Can i root it? Somehow? I dont care about the warranty...

No. You shouldn't have bought J :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!
