Post by reaper7 »

Hi,

What IC is used inside LExxB650 for hdmi switching?
I can't find a good motherboard foto...
On one image above HDMI1 and HDMI2 I see some device but I can't read his type
When I connect my TV to linux sat box on /dev/i2c-1 shows some device with addr 0x3a
and I need some information about it.

tnx!

I know that there is many IC :) But interesting for me IC is directly above HDMI1 and HDMI2, see on photo http://img180.imageshack.us/i/img2026.jpg/
(This one IC(something like LQFP - 100pins?) is above HDMI's and one IC above jack sockets)

EDID answered on address 0x50 and I read this successfully (raw data from i2c-1 0x50 at the bottom):

EDID answered on address 0x50 and I read this successfully (raw data from i2c-1 0x50 at the bottom):
Two possibilities:
1) SIL9287 HDMI switch (listed in B650 service manual)
2) Samsung Arsenal chip (HDMI logic for 3 switched inputs, plus 4th direct built-in HDMI port - ???; it's not 100% clear).
