Simply check WHAT is hanging it. It's NOT root but SOME script :)
Bean wrote: Is a FW upgrade a solution?
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! That is NEVER a "solution". Unless you simply misspelled word DWONgrade ? :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Hi sectroyer,

thanks for your answer!

The TV does not respond after 2-3h.I can see the "picture", but I can't switch the channels, I can't turn power off ... I can only unplug the power cord ...
I've deleted /mtd_rwarea/network/runSamyGO.sh, but is no improvement ...
how can I find out which scripts hangs?

Regards

if you deleted /mtd_rwarea/network/runSamyGO.sh then root is gone :P No more problems since NO MORE scripts ANY SCRIPTS :P

Hi sectroyer

Oh but! Unfortunately, the TV does not run stable! Constantly it hangs!
Hence my question whether it is useful and possible to downgrade and then again to make an upgrade version 1240.3 ...
Can the Support detect whether the TV had root?

It can't be "unstable" because of root :P Did you (COMPLETELY) powered off and unplugged rooting usb ? :P

It's ALWAYS good idea to DOWNgrade :)

It's always BAD idea to UPgrade :)

Hi sectroyer,

Oh, I'm very sorry, but I failed to see your post and question... I only look at the last post...
It can't be "unstable" because off root :P Did you (COMPLETELY) powered off and unplugged rooting usb ?
Yes, I powered off (unplug power cord) and unplug the rooting usb.
I completely power off... twice a day, then I must unplug the power cord to reboot TV... ;)
It's ALWAYS good idea to DOWNgrade :)
Can I downgrade to any FW without any problem e g. T-GFPDEUC_1122.3 - from T-GFPDEUC_1240.3? I've all saved my FW :)

Bean
