All root methods CAN work WITHOUT usb. It's just NOT supported. It means NOBODY will help with it. But you are free to do it yourself

Hello im new here. I have a Samsung UE55H4670 Tv with Firmware T-MST14DEUC-2790.1 and i install the Sammy Over my Smarthub.
The programm asked me for a restart and i do that.The programm find all files then i see all green Ok text.
After that i didnt see changes and i cant connect over telnet.
In the Manuel he write wait 1-2 Minutes for restart, but my Tv didnt restart by self.... What i?m Doing wrong?
I will use Sammy for Oscam

Ps. In my Settings i cant find the option for Quick start and quick off.. Is that the fault?

Edit: How can i downgrade my Tv to a older version to use Oscam?

Yes I got the same problem, the docu is not that 1:1.

First of all, after run the Smart Hub App scroll on the log screen via arrow keys on the remote downwards, because the reboot message is not visible on the screen. It will tell you to hit the "EXIT" Button to reboot.

After that reboot you have to:

When it finishes it will ask to reboot TV.
Reboot TV and wait 5 minutes.
Power OFF TV and UNPLUG USB.
On PC check USB. You should see following files:
insmod_qca.sh OR insmod_bcm.sh
network_type_info.txt
wifi_vendor.txt
SamyGO/vermagic.txt (in some cases you might NOT see this file but if root is working do NOT worry )
Make a backup of those files, they WILL CHANGE AFTER NEXT BOOT and you WILL NEED THEM LATER!!!
Double click patch.bat (Linux/Unix/Mac OS X users should use patch.sh) wait for it to finish and make print screen of output.
Connect USB to TV

If it is rooted you can downgrade with this HowTo:

In your place I would change the fw. IMHO it's best to use lowest possible firmware I have almost same tv and no problems like you have

I downgraded to 1108.1 and the main problem with the DS Video app remained. And the bug with the wrong youtube app language (danish instead of czech) was back as I expected. Then I upgraded to 2113.4 and 2116.1. In the last one the youtube bug disappeared, but DS Video app didn't work in any version. It looks like the other problems are gone or very infrequent, but the DS Video is very important for me, more than the root (especially when I can root the TV again later if would need to use PVRdecoder again).

I need to remove the root. Could you please tell me, if I can do something more than just switch the smart hub region twice? Should I send some telnet command to erase the SamyGO files from the TV before that? Please, try to describe the best way, how to remove the root. I think it would be useful even for someone else here. Thank's for your help.

Does Skype work for you ? If it does root is removed. Everything else is ON USB If your "super, hyper important DS Video app" still doesn't work. It's NOT related to root

No, just a blank screen even with the rooting USB unplugged. The root still works, I checked the FTP connection.
