I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

Hi everyone and thanks for the solution!
I have two simple questions (sorry, I'm new with bluray hacking)...
I have the BD-F5900 bluray - I did all the steps from the page 1 regarding the F players and everything seams to work just fine (no Cinavia) - is it necessary to do something else or the player will stay rooted and keep Cinavia off? Do I need to do something via telnet or I just leave it like that?

The second question is regarding the F (BETA) solution - what is the difference - will it make the player blu-ray/DVD region free and is it necessary to keep the USB plugged in the player all the time (not being able to attach external HDD)? Some users report loosing the root?
Thanks for the assistance!

No.

If Beta -> Blurayrs/DVDs DO work
If NOT beta -> Blurayrs/DVDs NOT work

Beta will NOT make your player blu-ray/DVD region free. This does NOT beta. With NOT beta. ALL disc NOT WORK :) Region INDEPENDENT!!!!

Yes.
ralsam wrote:(not being able to attach external HDD)?
No. You can use AS MANY usb devices as you want :)

No need. It's GUARANTEED :)

sectroyer: Thank you very much for the support - just one thing - I installed NOT BETA - but the player still plays blu-ray disks - blu-ray/DVD still works. Have I done something wrong?

If you have F device it's strange... :) No idea :) While it works don't worry :P Unless you DID unplug USB? :)

Yes - I did not know that I have to keep the flash plugged in all the time and removed it.
Will I have to repeat the Samygo installation again or when I plug the flash it will work?

Ahh I seee :( You think this:

!
WARNING!!!! DON'T EXPECT HACK TO BE WORKING CORRECTLY IF YOU EVER UNPLUG ROOTING USB :)!!!!!!
In first post is still to small ? :( Or should allow rooting widget download ONLY if user types "I know that root will stop working when I unplug USB"?

You have to check.
DVD/Bluray should NOT work with usb plugged IN
