nice, thx i will give it a shot..but tomorrow..now my tv is busy ^^

same result :/ i will try to do all from scratch..that means if anybody tells me how to do so
i started a support thread and as soon as someone replies there, i can go on..

If I can help with my experience - when I tried this app, it began with retrieving of the files, but most of the times it ended before the end of the file because of the buffer underrun. For example when I tried to decode 8 GB file, sometimes it ends on 3,7 GB, then 5,6 GB, then 800 MB... With the different magic number (40 works better for me), it ends on the end of the file most of the times and not earlier.
But when I see your logs, the retrieving of the files never even started.. I don't think that some magic number could help you.

This is what i think as well! so i will try to do everything again from scratch, and hope this time it runs different..
the problem can only be on the TV side, because with my second TV a H6500 had absolutly no problem at all! PVR decoder runs without any Problems at default settings...and when i rethink how the rooting on this H6600 ran, with the newest firmware 1290.2, rooted successfully, but the remote didn't response, and i had to power cycle the TV 5 times..after the 5th time, i could use putty to inject a library, so that i can downgrade to 1230, and there i am now

Hi all,

I'm happy to root my Samsung Smart TV H6200 today
I can acces via FTP on port 21 to my TV, but when i want to use this tool "samyGOPVRDecoder"... not connexion possible !

"Connecting to 192.168.1.15:21 .. (5/100)" ... but nothing ^^
I have just a message code : Read Time Out
And the tool crash.

I clic of Abort bouton

There is a problem with telnet access to the TV. Please investigate port.

I have open the UDP & TCP port on 3023, 3123 & 21 for my Tv in my router
I have open the rules for "samyGOPVRDecoder.exe" in my firewal

I dont understand why i can't open the list of my record with this tool

As already explained above, you might have to find the "magical value"

The magic value can be found as a slide-bar in SETTINGS -> OTHER

Start with the value 10, and increase by 2 or 3 for each test .. or select any random buffersize .. results are random anyway.
(Until you finally find it .. then things seem to run smoothly "forever")
