yes this is an artefact from old version, but in init scripts the modules should be loaded in right order, you can check with

why a modules won't load. but looks like some modules are missing too

But there is no error about cifs.ko, does this mean I can try to start smbd? Or this is only for smbclient?

its for access to your windos/samba shares (to watch movies/photos without dlna limitation from your nas/pc) so its for smbclient function

Correct me if i'm wrong:
To start smbd I have to:
1.edit CHANGE MEE section of .._samba_init
2. delete .dis extension of this file
3. start rcSGO again?

yes, but again the tv don't act as samba server it's client

ps: you next problem will be to access your mounted shares from media player, i don't know that method how to write to /dtv/usb/usblog is working on c-series. i posted some possible variations but saw no message that it works. but you can also change

are you sure you have all files from latest version?
latest version (SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r04-for-armv7a-T-VALDEUC-20101104171233.zip) don't use dd command in SamyGO/etc/init.d/02_04_vusb.init

lot changes in the init scripts, hope made no typos

theory say if you look after start to your usb-pen there should be some new directories like nfs smb ... with mounted nw shares.

i saw some mounted nfs shares in log files, no rpc timeouts??
can somebody pls play a bit around with virtual usb (dummy_hcd.ko and g_file_storage.ko) seems it won't work with sdp-usb host-controller? (dummy_hcd: failed to claim resource 0)

Guys,
I have a 32c6700 changed to 32c6800 with PVR function (in the early days)
Also got a working rs232 and my telnet with the usb run.sh script is working just fine.
Thanks for the great work

My next step would be to enable samba to watch movies/photos without dlna limitation from my nas.
But I am not sure where to put SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r05-for-armv7a-T-VALDEUC-20101105193134.

Can someone please give a more detaild description.
