No, you can`t. Shell console you have now is the same as telnet.

Man, have you set TV model to b650???

Did you have success of loading usb modules?

We just have another, european version TV with the same problem as yours. LE40B620 was set to b650. The symptoms were similar as yours.
It is possible to set back from console debug menu, but you cant get to it by 1198282, right?

We have experience, that after we set back the right model to b620, no more console was being accepted and no firmware to boot to. TV got fully bricked.

If you were able to get to TOP debug menu, you`d make factory reset and maybe it could make USB acceptable. But factory reset drops rs232 to UART and you newer get it back if you restart. To save ex-link cable working, you`d have set uart to debug from factory console too without rebooting (if it possible)-else you don`t get console anymore and the only way left for you -service. If you get any ideas how to restore tv, i can write commands to do FactoryReset. Its the last step before bringing TV to service.

Just for knowing if you will get no success:
In europe such broken TV is under warranty - a lot of tvs had been repaired. Needed to say, that you were upgrading firmware and upgrade instructions you have found in user manual, firmware you got is from official samsung download site. You newer got electricity broken and everything was ok until TV restarted.

Added:

I have tried to set rs232 to uart via Debug menu from console and at the moment i lost ex-link cable working. I had to set it back to debug from service menu. So i do not think, that after factory reset we will have access to tv at all.

In the other hand i thought, that if we get USB working, it is possible, that emergency firmware procedure begins if here is USB with /T-CHE6AUSC/ and firmware on it available. Anyway, if you don`t have access to TOP debug menu, you can`t do all these things.

Yes, I overlooked that part, sorry.
If the partition image files can't be accessed from USB drive (for whatever reasons), there are another options to try, like NFS mount.

AFAIK for TOP Debug menu access (1198282) exeDSP needs to be up and running.

However, if NVRAM settings got messed up after model changing in the service menu, this may be (nearly) hopeless case anyway. And currently we are unable to restore the proper EEPROM settings from shell / command line level (I'm sure it is technically possible, but nobody knows how to do that, except some unnamed Samsung engineers :).

1.Do you have access to TOP Debug menu (1198282)? Say finally - yes or no :?:
2. What nfs server? Do you mean tftp? Tftf is usedt for booting kernel and it works well for you. Where you get instructions about booting rootfs from nfs from? Give links and write more detail what you do.
3. Is uImage you use for tftpboot from open embedded?

Flipper!

You did not read instructions! What`s this:
extracted externalboot-base-rootfs-ssdtv-xxxxxxx.tar.gz to FAT32 Partition 1 USB Drive.
You need to extract to ext3 formatted USB partition and do this with root permissions on linux mashine with help of gzip. Didn`t you? Thats the reason why rootfs on USB is not recognised.

Ok, i haven`t boot rootfs via tftp yet, i will check.

Question - is root over nfs being supported by kernel you are booting?
We need custom kernel for that:
The first thing todo is build a kernel with the nescesarry stuff in to support root over nfs
I do not know how to compile such. Anyone?

Hi,

did you double-check that you have ext3, atapi, scsi and usb-storage support directly compiled in your kernel (not as module) ?
Also is udevd enabled ?
After you enabled those items in menuconfig, edit the .config file manually and check if the following lines are present:
CONFIG_SCSI_SATA=y
CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_AHCI=y
Add/modify them to look like above.
Then recompile and try to boot this kernel, it should go past the VFS error,
you can also try a FAT filesystem on your usb flashdrive as most kernels have
FAT support compiled in.
If you can boot the kernel, and login you are very close to be able to restore your tv.

Maybe (just maybe) you can mount nfs share from shell on serial console (you _do_ have an access to working shell on serial console, with watchdog deactivated - is that right ?); like this:

# /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/8139too.ko
# /sbin/ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.100 netmask 255.255.255.0
# mkdir /dtv/nfsdir
# /bin/mount -t nfs -o rw,nolock,soft,async,udp 192.168.1.200:/whatever-exported /dtv/nfsdir
