watch channels TV on smartphone samsung

Hello everybody,

I need to watch channels TV on smartphone samsung
I have a UA40J5500 1217 version.
I have installed samsung smart view app on my phone but when i try to connect, the tv show me the PIN code
i write it in my phone but it always show me that the PIN is wrong.
Is that app allow me to watch program playing on tv on my smartphone too at the same time?

is there a solution for my need?

Hello deldev,

You need to install Samsung Smart View 2.0 to be able to watch channels on your smartphone. Samsung removed this feature from the current version.

samsung removed this feature from where? from tv? but it's an app in smartphone not in tv.
I have installed it in my phone and i have tried to connect, it show me PIN in TV and i have write it correctly in phone
but the phone always show me that the PIN is Wrong and i have to try again and again and again....
what have i do please?

From the app. (the current app is called Smart View - the old app is called Smart View 2.0)

yes yes exactly, i'm using smart view 2.0, this is strange, the tv show me the pin but the app show that is incorrect.
evern with "smart view app" installed in my pc under Windows is the same problem, it tell me wrong pin.

Please delete any devices you have in:-

Menu > Network > Multimedia Device Manager

Make sure the phone and TV are connected to the same network then start Smart View 2.0 on your phone and enter the Pin shown on the TV.

of course my phone is connected to the same network orherwise the tv will not show me the PIN.
The TV is showing PIN when i push connect in the phone so the phone is well connected recognized.
I just have problem with wrong PIN
I tried to delete all devices but still have the same problem. So that did not work.
The phone connect without probleme if i use "Wifi Direct" but this is not what i'm looking for.

Hey there. If you're still around could you please tell me which version you installed? Was it version 1.1.1? I would also recommend this app, it's very similar to Samsung Smart View but has some differences in interface, but that shouldn't be a problem.
