[ROOT] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares

Hello,

tv UE40ES5700 with firmware T-MST10PDUEC-1025.2.
i have done root access according to the wiki instructions
I have a root access but when i enter by ftp client the mnt folder is empty and i can't install oscam.
What can i do?

i made a root access according mixed e/f series method https://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=8721.
After that I see the contents of a directory mnt but after about an hour of work i lost access . USB is ok, i see memory in source but before when tv start i see box with text: samygo..." Connection usb when tv is off does not help.
I have no idea, anybody help?

I noticed the problem after installation oscam.

the problem solved after the copying file samyGOso to the tv?s folder /mnt/opt/privateer/usr/bin/.

Hi Guys, Sorry to bother you but today I have some issue with the Samygo and OSCAM / smart hub. All with my tv and settings was unchanged since the time we tested and installed your USB root. I did not touch it. Today I mentioned my OSCAM did not start. But the Samygo started during tv boot. (All green etc. ). I have ftp access but do not have telnet access. When trying some smarthub apps (Plex for example) - the hub and tv just freezes. If I remove the USB - the tv starts normally , the Samygo does not start (shows red errors) but the smarthub apps work. The tv FW is still the same 1118. No updates and changes. I could managed to delete some samy.log files just to free up some memory, but no help. Any idea what could be the issue?

delete log file in /mnt
- sam.log
- samygo.log

Possible that your samyext4.img is corrupted, you should save your custom stuff (if you still have access to /mnt) and try to restart from original image.

I think, if he has ftp access only need to delete log file in the /mnt directory
That it didn't happen in the future read and do: this post.

thank you Guys! I replaced the samyext4.img file with the new/archived one - and all works fine now. It was strange how can the img be corrupted, but could happens (obviously). Thanks again!
