Solution i have found to media player mkv files recognition:
I just turn the media player to "simple view" and then i was able to see the files. But anyway, its a strange thing.

I get it this error when i access mkv via DNLA.
I installed today SamyGo All Extensions via USB, and accessing directly to network disk (no DNLA), i can play the same MKV that i cant via DNLA....

Maybe it solves your problem?
