For me disabling auto-updates in TV menu work just fine but it may not be the case if you have latest firmware which ignores this setting.

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

my router does not have the lock option for ip, the operator limits router settings, oh, I do not have many options.

It shows that version 1460 is available but doesn't update to it automatically only if I would do it manually. So is there a normal firmware updates which do not update automatically and some critical forced updates which ignore the setting? Is it documented in Samsung help or manual that there are forced updates and that "auto upgrade" checkbox is only cosmetical?
