Yes, first block updates and confirm it works Cinavia will be only removed for those who block updates. IMHO best way to block updates is to block ALL internet traffic to device

Question is NOT whether your "auto update" is "off" such options does NOT exist You can't turn updates "off". You can ONLy block internet access to device

Will rooting fix bluray disc reading problems?

I have a Samsung BD-F6500 that wont play bluray and 3d bluray discs, but will play dvds fine. I have read that it's more of a software problem, then physical, updating and resetting didn't work so was wondering about rooting it?

I have an European HT-F9750W and i would really like to get rid of Cinavia .
I'm actually running latest FW on the device, that's 1023.0 , can it be done?

What should i do to get access to the procedure?
