This worked great, thanks! Firmware is now reading as 1015, and Cinavia is now gone from my player!
I've also made a rule on my Fortigate to block all outgoing traffic from the player to http://www.samsungotn.net to prevent the player from receiving any further firmware updates, as there is no option on this unit to turn off the firmware update checks completely (only firmware downloads in standby).

Great news that it worked.
Aris, I won't be interested in region code outside of Europe (uk) but I guess its important for u to know. I don't even have any other region DVD or bluray that I would test for you.
However, I'm not even downgraded yet and if your prepared to release the firmware for me ill need to know how to tell you the DUID or Mac address?
Apart from getting rid of Cinavia one problem I have noticed since being on the most recent firmware is that playback of movie file from a USB pen drive produces a thin band of lines right across middle of tv screen.
It never used to do that so I'd be keen t
o get rid of that too.
