Before buying new cables, I suggest that you test the one you have with 2 terminals

BTW.
I checked my data cable.
I can write in PUTTY on first computer and all I can see on the second computer,
but driver of cable is: Profilic USB-to-Serial Comm Port

On my units (bd-d8900, bd-e8300), the Prolific driver is not included in the kernel, and my Prolific cable doesn't work
