Now it works. was in the canadian smart hub and there was an update yesterday to 3.xx very strange but now it works

In US Samsung released a new firmware update for a lot of TVs and the changelog says: Solves Netflix loading issue
I wonder if this fix will be released in other countries too...

Cant we just do as we did last time ... I download it, decrypt it, and you modify/test it ?

Samsung released a firmware update to fix this issue. As far as i know, there was no Netflix app update. So it looks like it was a firmware issue and we just need to wait and hope that they fix this problem on European TVs too...

Is there a real TV HW-difference ?
Or could one snatch a US-firmware, and update EU hardware (TV) using USB ... Maybe after patching whatever validation-machanism may be in effect .. ?

I tried to decrypt Netflix 4.005 just like the old 3.22601, to install it in the user folder.
3.22601 worked when empNRDP32 was installed.

I was not able to decrypt 4.005 because SPMdecrypt got me an empty index.html. So this is either a bug in SPMdecrypt or in some samsung library for decryption.
Maybe this is the cause why EU-/AU-models don't work. The TV can't decrypt the img?

If there is someone with an US-Model and a working 4.005 Netflix: Would you please try to decrypt Netflix 4.005 with SPMdecrypt and upload it somewhere?

Maybe it works on EU-/AU-Models as well when it's decrypted and the empNRDP40 is installed.

Index.html is empty (i have a unencrypted zip from Samsung server), so that is not the problem. V4 is apptype 55, it seems its just a forwarder to emp. I also have the emp and gave it the correct permissions to run, but still it crashes when loading.

I have v3 working in non US Smart Hub, so the v4 should work too but it doesn't.

I even wrote HTML and JavaScript to start the emp the same way as v3 app does, but the emp still crashes.

I believe there is something missing in non US firmware. I wish there was a log to see what exactly causes it to crash.
