Chip numbered "8" (ATMLH006 2FB 2 == Atmel AT24C512B, 512Kbit I2C EEPROM) is more likely connected to the SETD-75 (Samsung manufactured Micronas/Trident FRC chip).

Yep, it certainly looks like the best EEPROM candidate for unbricking. I say go for it.
