UN46C7000 LED bricked with service menu (changed the model)
Hi guys, I changed in the service menu the model of my tv (UN46C7000) and now I can't do anything. It turns on and off by itself and I think the only solution is to reset the eeprom but I don't know where is it.. here are some pictures of the main board, hopefully someone can help me find it.

I agree, it's hard to see...
I think that the yellow circled chip is the best candidate, as pin 5 (sda) seems to be grounded on the red one.
All other 8-pin chips don't seem to have good connections for an eeprom.
Nothing on the other side ?
Also try to read the refs on the chips

Did you try to enter service menu again using a remote (IR) ? Probably a soft reset + ir "factory remote" could help.

SOmetimes, if you can set TV to standBy (blindy), you can take spoonlight and check is smth is going on TV or not. People reported they were able to see service menus...

The one on picture BN94-02757A-BOTTOM1_zps299203ed is not an eeprom (SDA and SCL would be grounded)
The other one could be, but I cannot read its reference to confirm

Ok.. I'll try to take clearer pictures of the chips and post them A.S.A.P., what's the reference that I'll should be looking for?

I've found one that says: S24CS0, i've tried to short the 5th and 6th pins but nothing happens.. all other 8 pin chips start with Z something...oga83 wrote:Something like 24C512 or S24Cxxx
