This way would still require a physical USB for mount point though.
everything is possible but what's the point ? :) I just mount CONTENTS directory FROM TV on my NAS over samba installed on TV :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!

is this the correct answer ? :P
Than what is the point of "recording to samba share"? Leave recordings where they are nad just decode using PVRDecoder to samba share :)
My samba share is really large :P
my original intention was to auto delete the .srf file after the decoding, but i have understand that it's not possible :/
Then i found on the forum that people was talking about pvr over nfs :P so i was trying to pvr over samba :P
So my goal was to register and decrypt tv over samba, with no usb needed :P
I know that is not NECESSARY, but i love to try that modification :P

It's possible, PVRtoTS has the ability to launch a script ("ts2mkv") at the end of each recording :)

Because you have MST you can simply load NoDRM and there will be no need to decode anything. Your file will be saved in .srf as decoded :) although it will have "funny name" ;) I might create a script for that one day... ;)

nice!! now i have to understand how to delete it :P
So if can auto delete the .sfr files i can register with no space limit on the usb, is right?

I've already done a rename script for PVRtoTS, only problem is that it handles only ASCII chars :)

Yeah we need python for that ;) I will prepare special script for that... Just not now ;)

Interesting, I like such clue, will investigate ;)
Anyway PVRdecoder option to "Rename files generated by PVRtoTS" is perfect for that, really doesn't matter if it's not "real-time" :)

sectroyer wrote:Deus3X I would like to as one question : What do you want to achieve? Do you want to make TV record to networks hat you will NOT be able to play from any other device or that you will be able but all files will have names in format: 20115432432432.srf and you will NOT know which file is which? :)
thinking back about your question... i think that i had to answer... i prefer to record over my samba directory...
Then if i will need to archive a video, i can use PVRdecoder :P
Can i change my answer ? :)
Any indication to let my tv PVR over samba? :P
