Did you do all these steps?
I recommend you load virtual USB BEFORE cifs.ko. Try.

Any improvements with this firmware update? The change log was not very detailed...

Edit: I also upgraded now to T-CHLCIPDEUC 2008.2 (SamyGo patched) and I can also confirm everything works as before (I had 2007.1 patched). So it should be safe to update. I can't see any improvements yet. What I understand is that there's an improvement related to the DTV subtitles. Also, someone reported better performance of Media Player when playing MKV files (I can't see anything spectacular).
