NFS

Post by decix »

I also tried SMB first but it did not work. Now I use NFS and everything works fine, including fast-forward in video etc.

Server: haneWIN NFS Server @ WinXP
TV: login via SSH, use command: mount -o nolock 192.168.1.101:/c/share /dtv/usb/sda1 -t nfs

P.S.: DNLA is the worst crap ever!

I advice you to use NFS instead of Samba/cifs. I think Mac supporting NFS already, right?
It's better, faster and relaible than Samba thing.
