I have been notified that youtube will no longer work on this device as of 30.06.2017.
What to do?
Can you help me with other solutions to keep watching youtube?

Here is nothing to add If they stop support of it.

Sure, consider to make copy of youtube widget and store the whole widget dir on your disk. Possible, they will simply force delete of widget without further possibility to install it. Same has happened with skype yars ago: adding it manulaly via ftp back to its place, allowed us to use it w/o any problems. Be prepared. If this does not work, then we will see...

They deleted youtube from my ue40d55 too and i didnt make the backup, what are the options available? I dont find any valid youtube widget download

Extract archive dir to /mtd_down/widgets/user and check will it work or not.

I uncompressed the archive first and then moved the folder to /mtd_down/widgets/user using filezilla, then switched off and on the tv, and i dont see the app yet, is the folder structure correct? /mtd_down/ is a actually a shortcut to /mtd_rwdata/ in filezilla. Snapshot attached. Or maybe my tv model ua40d5500rm cannot run this widget?

IIRC here is no difference between arm and mstar models infolink structure. And in theory widgets do not differ too. I just not sure if youtube requires any emp to be backuped to get it work properly or not. I haven' found any emp related to youtube on my tv. Either it does not exist, or i searched in wrong locations.

I have another version of youtube. I will post it later today.

Well by some reason the app showed up in the menu, but I am still getting the Samsung message warning of the end of youtube support, I wonder if they can also remove user installed apps, I might need to downgrade the firmware.

This kind of things piss me off from a vendor, the only reason to remove Youtube is a stupid planned obsolescence to force the customers to buy a new TV, but if I buy a new one, it would not be Samsung obviously.
