Hi,

Tell me what you are expecting from patched firmware? What do you need on your TV?
Separate games (like DTS support, PVR and other) you can run w/o downgrading to 2006 and off course you do not need patched one.
But if you want have automounts your network shares, use all benefits of samygo (by attaching to autostart all samygo apps you want), then you need patched firmware.
Remember me, what is release date of your 2008 T-CHLCIPDEUC? I gues it`s after FEB 2010, right? In this case if you want install any older/patched firmware, you need make it with help of ExLink cable and flash firmware images manually.
Your TV is CI+ and it is more dangerous to flash it by hand compared to CI devices. Read more here.
Important - do not forget run RSA Dissabler before flash patched firmware.
But at first.. Maybe you do not need patched one?
