With the latest version you can switch with the red button I think.

Another option would be to change the default language in the MKV-file itself.
Use MKVToolnix to remux your file with the correct settings.

(Select your desired language and change "default track flag" and "forced flag" to "yes" and on the other (unwanted) language to "no".)
