I will update tonight.
But my hacks do not work anymore since i have no cable to format that partition that i have to format you know what i am talking about.
So i can still check. what if by some miracle they started working now?

Anyway. I read on a German forum that ghosting on 3D is WAY less now. so I am definitely updating.

I assume that "How to get root access on a C series TV" guide from wiki is not working anymore if you are on the latest firmware right?
I have tried on 3007.1 and had no luck. it didn't copy usb_hotplug.sh from TV to USB and then i quit trying.

HmH worked on 3007 firmware earlier, i wonder if you get problems with it. Might you try re-hack your TV?

Yes but for re-hacking I have to format that partition. and for formatting it i don't have the cable.
So it seems like if the hotel hack/re-hack doesn't work then then rooting hack with "How to get root access on a C series TV" doesn't work either?

Yes, HmH does not work for TV`s if they were hacked before and hack is stopped to work. because here are some files on TV and copy function gives error.
From the other hand - you always can move from widget to HmH if you have telnet access. In your case - i think you get success but before you need format rwarea over exlink.

what files are still on tv?
can i delete them lets say with a script on a flash card? with a widget?

You can`t delete them over widget (thanks 3007 firmware), just formating partition cleans any trace of hack... No other way has been invented yet.

So you want to say that if i change the paths and/or filenames in HmH on USB and try to re-hack it then i would be able to do it right?
because from what you are saying it seems that some files from HmH just cannot be copied from USB to TV over again due to the same files with wrong permissions that are already in rwarea left from previous hack?
