PS51D551 video/audio synch

Hello guys,

Excuse my poor english.

I have a big problem, I just changed my PS50B550 for this new PS51B550.

I use a Xtreamer to read HD an SD movies. Before, with my B550, all was fine, audio on my amplifier by optical, video onh the TV, perfectly synch.

With the D550, on some movies ( all my Xvid or DivX for example ), the video and audio are not synch anymore, the video is a little before the audio. 24p mkv are fines.

If I use my PC monitor instead of the D551, the audio is synch again !

That's totally crazy, I didn't expected to have a such problem with my new set.

Any ideas ?

Does this because input lag of TV?

Thanks for your answer, I don't think it's an input lag.

It's only on some movies ( SD or HD 25 or 29,970 fps principally ) HD 24p is fine ).

I don't think it's a lag because the video is a bit earlier than audio, I tried game mode, doesn't change anything.

I am really disappointed, must I return my set ? That's too bad, the PQ is really awesome.

I made another test :

If I use the horrible component video input between my Xtreamer and the D550, no out of sync, but a nasty PQ of course.

When I use HDMI, out of sync, sound is a bit too late, tried several HDMI cables, High Speed included, same result.

As I sais before, same Xtreamer, same video, on my old B550 or PC monitor, perfectly sync

I love this set, why does it do that to me. The last firmware 1024 was already on this new set.

Why don't you use PC VGA input?

I have no other choice, the Xtreamer ( a mediaplayer ) just have yellow component or HDMI output

What about using this cheap HDMI to VGA converter?
I think you can find similar devices on ebay too...

I'll buy one and try, I hope this will work !

I use the VGA for my X360 but I can use HDMI instead.
