Problem with HDD: No device connected to D6100 TV

Post by Quattro1 »

Hello
I have EU6100 with PVR. I installed Samygo and PVR scrambling removal.
Before that, my HDD was always behind TV and worked fine and after these installs too. But today after some night recording there was problem. TV recorded some other tv show and on info button i saw, that tv will continue recording 24/7 on the same channel. So I cancelled it. Morning I turned tv on and watched something on the HDD.
Now, I turned tv on, and tv will not reconice HDD any more. And HDD logo/option is gone under SOURCE.
When I want to access the recorded files, it says: ,,There is no device connected''

And when I want to put something to record, it says: ,,Device requires formatting. To record or use the Timeshift function, the connected USB device must be available for recording. Do you want to change the device format'' And anything wont record.
And any time when TV is turned on, the blue light on HDD is on too like it has always been before.

And I tried with samygo app working and without samygo app. The result is same: TV will not reconize the HDD on its USB any more.
And I cant access the usb too with PC and Win7. It says to format. But when I do it, I will lose every recording what was on the HDD.

What is the problem? Is something wrong with TV. Is there an softw. problem?

I found some similar problem from Samsung page. My HDD is working only on USB. They sayd, that the problem is, that the HDD will no get enough energy to work.
But how it worked before and now it isn't. I think, there is something wrong. But with what, I do not know yet.
