Iv'e just bought myself a eu d6200 tv that arrived today, I live in Germany but i am moving back to scotland in a few weeks. my language is set to english but when it came to setting the country it only gave me Germany ,austria and switzerland. I'm guessing this is for restrictions in those country's. my question is how to i change the country to the Uk? Tbh i dont really wanrt to hack firmware as i dont feel confident enought to do it, and knowing my luck i would brick it!!

You have to change the Region in service menu. If it is greyed out, search for "ruSTVC" or "ruSamsungTVcommunicator" on this forum.
After you change to PANNORDIC you get a lot of localisations for all over the Europe.

Will changing region brick it or will searching for rustvc could that brick it.
Sorry but a total noob at all this.
i have managed to enter the service menu but it is greyed out. what exactly is this communicator thing.. can i brick my tv by using it?

Hi Bro,
I had your problem too. And I solved follow this post: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=3215 .Obviously you will have to skip step 3 (that enable PVR) and step 4. At step 4 you will have only to turn on your TV.

To enter the Service Menu:
With TV switched off, press the following sequence on the remote:
[MENU] [MUTE] [POWER]
Sincerly I don't remember if U need to enable the DEBUG MODE. If U need this, after entering the Service Menu, go on "Control menu" and set the value of the RS232 mode to DEBUG.I think this step is not necessary, but it's better to ask to someone that is much "professional" then me.
