Do you mean IPTV player or ITV player?

There are two widegets that are working for D Series i.e NetPlayer and nStreamPlayer. But you have to be able to edit the playlist with your required streaming IPTV url. and here is:(viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3726) a list of extracted iptv urls that is for different platforms and you have to make it work for either of NetPlayer or nStreamPlayer. If you manage to make it work please share it.

If you mean ITV player that is a widedget from samsung and if you read this post(viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3957) you will be able to get it.

Hi
Yes I did mean ITV player (uk catch up channel)

I tried the method to get more widgets as per your link, but I did not see any difference in the amount on the screen, Seems to not work for me.

As for Iptv have not tried this yet, can I only install this widget with Sammy go installed?

Thanks:smile:

Hi,

I have nerver tested the ITV one but I have seen on the video section of the samsung widgets. I have tried BBC I player, which did not work. I wanted to watch the apprentice.

As for the nStreamPlayer/NetPlayer, they are simply widegets that can be installed. But if you do it directly from the server via develop account your samygo will get deleted as mentioned in the relevant posts. You have to upload it via ftp, at least that is what I did.

If you manage to make it working, please share it here. I have tried, but can not figure out the conversion! The urls streams that are of rtsp type are working, but a bit slow, whereas the urls that are of the type rtmp/mms/http cant make it work. The supplied list of channels with nStreamPlayer works (at least some of them), but inf you want to extract url from other streaming iptvs you have to convert it the way nStreamPlayer accept/expects it.

I have used two different programs to extract urls and ended up with 2 different urls. Url helper extract the url as rtmp which is very long and there are different strings embedded in the middle. I presume it is extracting converting the way xbmc expects. I have used url snooper which extract the url from the same site (bbc persian) but as http!!?

if you look at the rtmp urls in the xml file of nStreamPlayer is looks like this:

Code: Select all

stream_url><![CDATA[rtmp://nrjlivefs.fplive.net/nrjlive-live&id=nrjparis]]></stream_url>
but the one extracted with URL helper is quite long and look like this:

Code: Select all

rtmp://cp91525.live.edgefcs.net:80/live<playpath>ptv_live_mbr_3@8062 <swfUrl>http://www.bbc.co.uk/emp/releases/worldwide/revisions/749603_749269_749444_5/749603_749269_749444_5_emp.swf <pageUrl>http://www.bbc.co.uk
What I can not figure out is this particular string:&id=nrjparis? I don't know it means and where it came from?

Regards
Sammy

If you are trying to watch BBC iplayer or ITV player from outside the UK, it will not work, they restrict non UK ip addresses for licensing reasons.

Is this app available in the UK through Samsung apps:?:
If so It does nor show up on my TV
