Hi All,
I own a LE32C530 and a server capable of running Plex Media Server. I already changed the type to a C550 and added the Samsung USB Wifi stick, giving me DLNA, but to be honest the GUI is extremely ugly.
So, I want to use my TV as a Plex client as well, allowing my kids to really browse their movies. The screenshots look extremely cool, so to me that is the way to go. But my question is (perhaps quite stupidly) is it possible and if so, what is the easiest way to do it? I have read a ton of material on SamyGo today, but I can't make heads or tail out of it. There is a lot of talk about app-hubs and Internet@TV, but I can't find both of them on my TV. So I am a bit at a loss here....
Can anybody give me some pointers here what I need to do?
Jaap
What is the way to get Plex working on a LE32C530?

Hi. Jaap. Did you succeed? I have a LA40C550... would also like to get Plex working. I've rooted my phones, etc, but diving into the TV os seems a bit more complex.

to use the plex-app you would need internet@tv on your device and afaik its not available for your model...
your best chance would be hacking it and running samygo extensions to get nfs-mount feature, you'd still have to use the "ugly"-GUI of TVs media-player but there is better sorting an overall media access when tv thinks it is on a local drive instead of upnp(dlna)-share...

If you can't fix it using dvct tape, you are not using enough dvct tape.
