Boot a Samsung TV OS image onto a qemu?

Post by rgodoy »

Hello guys.
I'm just wondering if there's any chance in making an image from my Samsung TV's "disk". What I'd really like to do, is to make some "tests" on a virtual machine, before making any modification to my TV. This would be something like a "TV emulator". Moreover, it would be nice to load a SamyGo firmware into a VM, as a help to make the desition later.
Any ideas??
Kind regards.

AFAIK you can emulate TV boot on qemu, but you need a lot of manual adjustments because of specific hardware.
I know some of our devels have success (but not me, i have never tried to setup such emulator).
Start to read articles on... google... Here is no "ready-to-use" images or "how-to for beginners". But yes, this is possible.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any site/link on mind as "a beginning" to start reading?
