SO if not Samsung which other TV?

So I'm just courious, everybody here has a Samsung TV. And since we all know how bad they're at making firmware I wanna know, what other TV would you consider to buy? My Samsung sold me when I saw that it can play almost all files, especially MKV, with just USB key. But I really wanted a Sony TV, and funny thing is, the guy in the store told me that Sony TVs are actually really bad.
