BD-D5300 Latest firmware available ....

Hi folks,

The latest firmware available from Samsung's website include a surprise known as Cinavia, what is a kind of protection inside of the audio file.

It will turn your BD in a piece of junk.

Don't do the upgrade, please!

Now this is driving me crazy because a bunch of my movie files cannot be watched as they did in the recent past.

Aleluya! I did the downgrade following the instructions given in this forum and the Cinavia problem is gone.

Hi Manpty, I too need to downgrade my BD-D5300 and noticed you had successfully managed to do it - could you point me in the right direction on how you achieved this?

I too need to downgrade my BD-D5300. I have 2 dvd players. I have a player with the old firmware without Cinavia,and another BD-D5300 with player upgraded for error. Someone could help me?

The firmware on the Blu-Ray that doesn't have Cinavia, what version is it please?
