Hello guys this is my 1st post here,

Is there any way to change the subtitle color & font ?

i am new to all this.

I have the same your TV.
You need to install samygo and than you will have access to some features about what you are looking for.

I have tried right now but by TV ass the account "develop" locked...

I think that 8000 series still need some time for developers.

i am new to samsung world so excuse me for asking n00b questions.


How do i install the samygo & will it cause any issues to my TV in the future for instance lets say i
installed sammygo later on i decided to update my firmware.

Will the samygo become uninstalled & ill have to install it again.

You can install Samygo following the wiki, there is a new version that I'm trying to install as well,
If you install a new FW , I do not recommentd it, most likely you will need to reinstall it again.

The procedure seems safe as it is following the widget install procedure as proposed by Samsung develop site.

Take note that the procedure will allow you root privilege and therefore by FTP or Telnet you can create seriuos brick to your TV.

The Samygo app itself is not a danger even if it is not an ufficial app and no warranty is provided with it.

After all it sounds risky. I guess ill sit tight for a safe procedure; the default white subtitles with the default font are very boring and i can hardly see the subs especially if i change to 3D mode.

After doing a lil research the following page demonstrates it in general:

Subtitle color can change as well. SamyGO favorite is yellow, (ARGB code for yellow is: 0xFFFFFF00, for original color: 0xFFF0F0F0)

I only want to mess with that.If anyone with a safe workaround that will allow me & others to change the color i would be so grateful to know it.

DOn`t miss-inform yourself - you can`t get any color subtitles on E series. Inf you`re quoting is for B series only. Here is nothing on SamyGO for your problem.
