BD-E8300 network access

Post by kapito999 »

Hi all,

I am new to BD-E8300 and I did the error to believe that I could save my recorded TV shows to an external disk after creation.
So I tried, and it did nor work. I can record them to external disk via USB, but I dont want to have a disk connected to my BD-E8300.
So I read about other ways to connect, but I do not want to create a specisl cable to start the debug menu.

So I thought about network connect. Does anybody know how AllShare works? Might it be possible to use a directory traversal to access the recorded files?
How does the remote connection work (Samsung support can use a generated set of numbers to get access to log files etc.)?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards

i bought the same device, it's quite expensive in my country and it disappointed me.
we can share all media files between our devices by net but not recorded files.
I tried by external usb, as you did, but files are encrypted so i can' t play 'em on others devices
There is a software called "Destroi" but it doesn' t work on E-series.

Hi Cos123,

I do not even want to play them on an other device, I just do want to copy them to an other device after watching them. If I would watch them I probably would copy them back to the device or connect the external HD to it...
