Downgrade BD E6100

First off, Hello.

New to the forum and completely up s___ creek without a paddle.

I have a BD E6100 blu ray player. That I recently upgraded the firmware on like a moron. Now it is no more use than a door stop.

I have been trying to fix it with zero progress. I have set the DNS on my router to 149.154.159.134 and the same on the blu ray player, I cannot seem to connect to the internet and this results in error code 800.

I might be missing something really obvious. This is not exactly my area of expertise. Do I not need an IP aswell?

Please please give me your advice. I really am stuck.
