So I just can't activate 3dtvplay from nvidia on this TV.
Nvidia said this is because my edid specify a 18.5 inches screen instead of 60 and the activation needs at least 32"
I could create a new edid and force it in the TV drivers in windows,(I tried it) but since recently, the nvidia activation tool do not care about the registry (drivers) edid, it directly goes to see the real time TV one.
So no way to cheat.
I was hoping that a firmware update could help, however while same TV models in any other country are in 1110 or 1109 firmware version, China still have a 1102 one.
And I already asked in the firmware part of the forum and search on internet for days, no one never say if I can or not install a US firmware for instance, everytime someone is asking such a question, it's ending proposing an other solution than a firmware change...
So since it seams there is always another solution, what is my other solution?
Is there any way to change the real time edid of my TV without installing a new firmware?
IS there an option somewhere in samsung TV to set the size of the TV?
Or is anyone have another solution to my issue?
