I have to admit I am a bit blown away with how deep I have to dig into the IT world to follow you guys what you are writing here! So kudos to all of you first

My problem is my Samsung HT-C5900 tells me to update to the version I am running right now (1016.2 and I guess this is because there went someting wrong during the update and now I can't play newer 3D BD, so I tried to update via USB but it will tell me (by usb) that I already have the newest version installed...
Then I came across the "BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept) Thread and I tried this way just to see what would happen (knowing that there was no suitable FW version for my device) but it tells me that I can't connect to the internet with this DNS...
So now I have to beg for your help!
My idea is to force my BD Player to install that 1016.2 from USB by editing the FW to tell the BDP that it's a newer version, but I have no idea whether this is possible or not? I read in a thread that there are FW versions for other devices with just edited version numbers...
So can sb be so kind to edit this FW version for me? Or tell me tether it's possible?
Thank you in advance!
Greetings
Julian
