B550 CI+ series are already available when you buy this TV. (T2P models.) I don't know if you could run CI+ device firmware.
Just try with Extrenal USB booting.
Adding CI+ on B550 series? (a PCMICIA is a PCMICIA!)

You can look at wiki but I think CI and CI+ slots are different at HW level. Nothing to do anything if you are planning to use CI+ cards.

CI and CI+ slots are based on the same standard (PCMCIA) so modules of both types will be recognized in CI+ devices. However CI+ adds authentication mechanism to DTV and module to ensure integrity and possibly revoke hacked devices/modules. The cryptographic keys will be most likely stored somewhere in hardware (I guess).erdem_ua wrote:You can look at wiki but I think CI and CI+ slots are different at HW level.
