F Series Samung Smart TV dropping Wireless

Hi all I am on Verizon FIOS and though my TV connects successfully to the wireless network, it drops connection shortly thereafter. If I try to stream or use Allshare, it is constantly buffers/loads. I stop the transmission, go back into settings, then it says cannot connect to network. I have to keep re-entering the network information into the TV network settings. I was thinking to maybe setting up another router (Cisco/Linksys E900) as a repeater, then connect a network cable from the TV to it. I welcome any suggestions. Before the flaming starts, lol, I have searched the net and found so many different "possible" solutions. I looked into a power-plug, but they seems so finicky. Anyway, I am interested to see what responses I get from here.
