smart remote not working

Post by shaun66 »

Hi I have a UE50F6500 which I set to uk, whilst trying to find a way of getting it to receive Freeview HD I messed it up and got a mirror screen, so I carried out a factory reset, it all works ok (except for still no HD!) but the smart remote wont control, it will turn the tv on / off

thanks

Open up the smart remote, and click the little button.
That will pair the remote with the TV using bluetooth (i think).
You may want to replace the batteries, now its open anyway :-)
I provide NO assistance by PM, unless absolutely necessary. Please ask questions in dedicated topics.

There's no point in trying to enable DVB-T2 on a TV that is not supposed to support it, needed hardware is simply missing. I guess you've bought your TV from another country having different standards?
You're already lucky not to have bricked your TV by playing with tuner type :)
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.
