downgrade BD-E5500

i have followed the instructions in first post,
but it said no new firmware to update...

I'm runing on BD-E5500-ZF
with 2012/10/05_001018 firmware version.

is there any chance to solve the C problem on this machine?

Hi,i have the same problem.
I want to downgrade the fiormware for to remove "CINAVIA"
Do you have the old firmware for to charge on dvd blu-ray player?
I have the same problem with a BD-D5300

No, I don"t have the old firmware, I've did not know about this Cinavia until I've upgraded to latest version and get the message while watching a movie.
I'm not sure if the original firmware was cinavia free or not, but I hope to solve this isue...
