Hi!
I have been thinking for a while.
I was planning to have a Raspberry running Ambilight for me.
And there is 2 options.
**Ether i use the Raspberry and its avaiable mediacenters.
(But it seems i cant get same sound and image as if i stream trough the built in Plex media player.)
**Or i feed the Raspberry with a continus Compisite signal from my Scart. (yes there is a out signal there)
But!
As soon as i change to any other source than my "TV" it just goes black.
The scart stops sending the compisite signal. Is this something programmable?
Is there another way to get an out signal from my tv ?

If you can't fix it using dvct tape, you are not using enough dvct tape.

Re: Ambi-Tv Project.
No sorry i didnt find them.
Still i did a search for ambi light and other related words... (ahh!! I searched on f series only. Sorry!!)
Thanx anyway! Seems like there still isnt a solution. But they are closing in.
No progress on F series though....
And i got no programming skills what so ever.
But i have found some great guides.
And i have got it working.
I just need to find a source to feed my Ambi-tv the signal so it works when im using the built in DLNA streaming.
I just hate that it shuts the scart/composite signal down as soon as im using any other source than the "TV"

Re: Ambi-Tv Project.
I have a new f6340 and i searched for an ambilight solution like you did. I read the topics about ambilight and in my opinion, and like i unterstand, the best solution would be: make a memory dumb for every video souce and find the framebuffer ranges. I think this is the difficult and tricky part. There are not only one range in memory, there are many of this. Then you can think of realisation On the hardware side. As you mentioned, there are good and easy solutions with raspberry in the internet.
I would like to help to find this ranges for the f-series. Maybe so we could realise an ambilight solution for the f series. The problem is: my programming skills are not professionel. Maybe somebody is interested. Pls answer to this topic or pn me.
