UE40D5500 - HAVING PROBLEMS NEED SOME ADVICE

UE40D5500

had this for a whie - every been great - love my samsung
month or so back my remote (AA59-0058A) died completely - wasnt happy about this
but nevermind

so i have been using the MyTifi app on my iphone - and yesterday that stoppened workng -
tv now has no connection to my router NOTHING AT ALL checked router and theres no sign pf the tv anymore

oviously my next step woud to have been to factory reset - UNABLE GET IN TO SERVICE MENU TO DO THIS - AS NO IR REMOTE

can someone please help me with this

You probably aren't too keen on the idea but you could very easily obtain a replacement remote off of eBay. My search results returned quite a few hits, many starting at between $10-$15, so I'm sure you'd find something that would fit the bill for a reasonable (read minimal) investment.
