I've noticed the SwipeIt app is mysteriously missing from the Smart Hub. A quick online chat with Samsung support provided a very innocuous "excuse" that there was a hardware incompatibility issue and, as such, Samsung decided to remove SwipeIt from the Smart Hub. Personally, I suspect there was another vendor who had a very similar application and, in lieu of litigation, Samsung simply decided to remove the app without warning. After reviewing the Samsung site, I've found several people with the same issue: http://www.samsung.com/us/article/know- ... it#RAT_M02
I've done a search across the SamyGo forums and have returned zero results for "SwipeIt" so I can only deduce that there is no previous mention of this issue. Does anyone know of a way to circumvent this myopic decision by Samsung and return the SwipeIt app\functionality to our sets? I'd even consider going with a third-party app if it worked as well as, or better than, SwipeIt between my 55" set (UN55D6050 (U.S. model) running firmware 1031) and my Droid (KitKat 4.4) phone.
Thank you.

No idea about SwypeIt, but to share media from phone to TV you can install on your phone an application such as BubbleUPNP that uses DLNA with no need to installl any app on TV...
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

It looks promising. I would still love to find something that works similarly to SwipeIt, though this may be the solution if that doesn't come to fruition. Thanks!
