hi,

did you ever tried out pluggin in an USB Fan on your Smart TV and waited in standby (turned off but still power suppliement) mode for hours ?
i noticed that the fans will turn on for some minutes
i saw that twice i dont know which times it will turn on but the display is like turned off
without a fan you would not notice that samsung collects data or what ever it is doing

proof is even in my network its turned off but it says it has a connection with my router via WiFi

i always disagree sending any datas and checked settings and everything looks fine

you have any ideas ?

this "silent" power on is related to firmware upgrade procedures. It checks samsung servers for firmware and installs it, if your OTN service is on.
